PIG BREEDERS' REQUEST

PUKEKOHE, Thursday A remit to the New Zealand Pig Breeders' Association that associate judges at agricultural and pastoral shows should act under at least two senior judges, who should give a report to the council before the associates were elevated to senior status, was agreed on at tho annual meeting of tho Auckland branch of the association, held at Pukekohe. The president, Mr. 11. C. Clark, was in tho chair. It was decided to issue a bulletin to members periodically with tho latest information regarding pigs of oustanditig quality. The following officers wore elected: President, Mr. A. J. Paynes; vicepresidents, senior, Mr. R. O. „Kerr, junior, Mr. V. H. ITatrick; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. R. Basham; executive. Messrs. R. O. Clark, C. ITawke, W. O. Lane, H. Gannon, J. R. MeArthur, E. Suter and W. G. Thomas.
