MEMBER HONOURED

OTAHUHU GOLF CLUB PRESENTATION MADE An afternoon in honour of the retiring secretary of the Otahuhu Ladies' Golf Club, Mrs. E. McNeely, was held at the Grange links clubhouse. The weather was ideal for the golf competition, which was won by Miss A. Whyte. Afterward a bridge tournament was held. The guest of honour and members were welcomed by Dr. Gladys Rowley. The former president of the Otahuhu Golf Club, Mr. S. W. House, praised the work and services rendered by Mrs. McNeely, and on behalf of members presented her with a reading lamp and an autographed pack of cards. The bridge competition was won by Mrs. A. Murdoch. Elocutionary items were given by Mrs. H. L. Possenniskie. Among those present were Mesdames S. Houses W. Massey, C.
