OVERSEAS LEAGUE

TALK ON AMBULANCE WORK An interesting and informative talk on the work.of the St. John Ambulance Association was given to members of the Overseas League yesterday afternoon by Mrs. A. C. Bassett, lady superintendent of the Onehunga branch of the association. An outline of the duties of the different sections of the association was given by the speaker. Sterling work, most of it voluntary, had been done in Auckland, and the field of activities was extending every year. A demonstration of bandaging was given at the conclusion of the address. Hostesses for the afternoon were Miss Amy Sutton, Miss E. H. Willoughbv, Miss C. Files and Miss C. B. Shepherd. The chairman was Mr. J. A. Shepherd.
