ELECTION OF COMMITTEE [t'ROM OUR OWN CORRKSrOXDKNT] rUKEKOHE, Friday The failure of householders at Pukekohe to t*lcct a school committee nt the annual meeting on April Ki, only four householders attending, was rectified on Wednesday, a further meeting of householders then securing the consent of the full number of nine to net, as a committee. Tho committee elected its chairman and secretary last evening. Its personnel is:—Messrs. J. Patterson (chairman), W. Gee (secretary), J. Comrie. J. Hunniford, C. Blair, W. B. Marshall, A. Oldham, P. Creedon, and C. Nohlo.
