LADIES BOGEY CUP COMPETITION MATCHES IN FIRST ROUND Members of the Titirangi Ladies' Golf Club played the first round of the bogey cup competition. Following were tho best cards returned: — Mrs. F. G. Alpe, 3 down; Mrs. H. D. Brinsden, Mrs. G. M. White, 4 down; Miss M. Hacket, Mrs. S. A. Pezaro, Mrs. A. J. Keaney, 5 down. Andrew and Miss A. Hackot beat Mrs. S. Bennett and Mrs. G. Bartleet, 3 and 2. WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB Open day competitions were held yesterday by the Waitemata Ladies' Golf Club. The A grade medal match was won by Miss K. Harty, with a card of 1)5, 18—77. The B grade was won by Miss P. Cowie, 06, 27 60. Tho next best cards were:—Mrs. Wisnesky, 101, 30—71; Mrs. J. Miss Morton was down nearly all the way, but squared the game at the 18th and won at the luth. In the semi-finals Miss Morton beat Miss V. Sangster. and Miss Duncan beat Miss S. Curtis.
