Duthie, who lost his life in tie"'air crash at Auckland on Tuesday took place at Feilding; to-day. '' \ Representatives; of airways seryioeg in the aero clubs, and local and district interests were present, The funeral left the home of the: late Commander Duthie's parents in Kimbolton Road, Feilding, following « service conducted by the Rev. Dixon, of the Feilding Presbyterian' Church. The cortege proceeded through the town to the Feilding cematerv where Mr. Dixon conducted this final service in the presence of a gathering. The pall-bearers were drawn various parts of the Dominion, an( j were representative of Union Airways and other air transport services. TW were: —Commander R. A. KirfcupCommander K. A. Stations, HawkeV Bay Aero Club, Union Radio School, Wellington, the president of the Royal New Zealand Aero Club, the Lockheed Corporation of Los Angeles, Feildine Aero Club, Scots College Old Boys' Association. staff of Milson aerodrome, and the Controller and staff of the Civil Aviation Branch of the Air Department ; and Pan American Airways.
