Ensor, when referring to tho Kopu Wharf at a meeting of the Thames Borough Advisory Committee. The engineer had inspected the wharf, Mr. Ensor continued, and he estimated that it would cost something like £SOO to put it in anything like a safe state. The revenue from the wharf was £lB a year, and from that the council had to pay a man £l2 10s a year to attend to tho lights. The position was a serious one lor the council, said the Mayor. It had been decided that the whole question should be considered by the special harbour committee
