VALUABLE PAINTINGS

AUCKLAND COLLECTION* VISIT BY CLUB MEMBERS Members of the arts and crafts circle of the Lyceum Club were guests of Lady Wilson at her home, Upland Road, Remuera, yesterday afternoon. They had been invited specially to see the many paintings in oil and water colour and other valuable ornaments which Sir George and Lady Wilson have collected from all parts of the world.

Lady Wilson took her guests from room to room, telling the history of many of the pictures and the artists who painted them, many famous names being included among the latter.

Afternoon tea was served in the billiard room, after which the convener of the arts and crafts circle, Dr. Gladys Rowley, thanked Lady Wilson for her hospitality.
