MANUREWA HOME
SERVICE ON COMMITTEE PRESENTATION TO MEMBER A service of 28 years' duration on the committee of the Manurewa Home was acknowledged, when Mrs. M. Woolley, who had tendered her resignation, was presented with a gift at a meeting of the committee held at the home of Mrs. F. Gaze, Mount Eden, this week
In making the presentation to Mrs. Woollev, Mrs. Gaze referred to the unselfish service rendered by the recipient for so many years, and of the great esteem in which she had always been held.
Mrs. Woollev, in replying, said she much regretted the necessity for her resignation. Her work for the children had given her great pleasure, and if in any measure she had been able to help the board in its efforts to make the life of children more happy, she had been amply repaid.
