MOTHERS' CLUB

MEMBERS FAREWELLED The Mothers' Club of tho Y.W.C.A. held an enjoyable social in tho assembly hall 011 Saturday night when Mrs. M. Cooper, vice-president, presided. The guests of honour were Mrs. A. McMurtrio and Mrs. J. McCarthy, who will leave shortly for Australia. 011 behalf of tho members, Mrs. Cooper presented both guests with gifts and bouquets.

A programme, arranged by Mrs. Sharpc, included tho following items: —Songs by Mrs. J. Fisher, Miss Rona Edwards and Miss Mona Kinlov: violin solos by Mr. F. Jury. Tho accompanists were Mrs. A. McCarthy and .Miss Lillian Allen. Winners of thy Monte Carlo danco were Miss Shirley Roper and Mr. Ray Neck.
