STUDENTS' REUNION

THE TRAINING COLLEGE SPORTS EVENTS DECIDED A highly successful reunion of past students of the Auckland Teachers' Training College was held at tho college yesterday, and about 200 attended the opening functions during the afternoon. Teachers were present from as far afield as Taranaki and Hawko's Bay, and an interesting programme had ' been arranged for their entertainment by a reunion committee of present students, with Mr. P. Robertson as president. Sports events, which included Rugby and Association football, hockey and basketball matches, were played in the aftornon and, following afternoon tea, community singing, conducted by Professor H. Hollinrake, was held.

Tho principal of the college, Mr. D. M. Rao, welcomed former students and visitors on behalf of the present members of the college and tho staff. Tho reunion concluded last night with a ball held in the college hall. Tho following were the results of the sports events: —Rugby and Association football, present pupils won by 12 points to 6 and 3 goals to 2 respectively; men's hockey, past students won, 4 —3; women's hockey, prosont pupils won, 4—l; basketball, past students won, 19—18.
