JEWS and catholics CAMPAIGN IN AUSTRIA VIENNA, April 20 The Nazis are collecting Jewish and Catholic clerical books from public and private libraries in Salzburg to be publicly burnt in the central square to-morrow.
Only 200 Jews from now on will be allowed to attend State schools. MUSIC IN VIENNA CAFES AND RESTAURANTS MORE MARCHES PLAYED VIENNA, April 20 Fewer characteristic Viennese waltzes and more marches are being played in Vienna cafes and restaurants or broadcast by wireless. A broadcasting official stated that there was no intention to cut. out Viennese waltzes, though, probably, Lehar and Strauss would be less frequently included. "We encourage new works, giving preference, of course, to Aryan composers," he said.
