CHAIRMAN APPOINTED AUCKLAND COMMISSION The appointment of Mr. S. I. Goodall, senior partner of the legal firm of Messrs. Goodall and Kayes, as chairman of the Auckland City No. 1 Mortgage Adjustment Commission is announced. The position was rendered vacant by

the appointment of the former chairman, Mr. A. M. Goulding, to , the magistracy, and Mr. Goulding is now in Wellington. Mr. Goodall has been in practice in Auckland for the past 15 years. He is the author of a legal treatise on conveyancing, and has edited a work on the law of property.
