Asey Mayo is by now a well known and popular character among the detectives of fiction, and the new novel, "Octagon House," by Phoebe Atwood Taylor, in which ho appears, will receive a warm welcome. The story Concerns the little town of Quanomet, which had just become famous because of its new post office. The post office, however, provides only a background for what follows when a young woman is found murdered in a garage, and her young sister is suspected of the crime.
