HUSBAND MISSING

MARITAL QUARREL SEQUEL MILLIONAIRE'S NEPHEW NEW YORK. April 21 A bitter marital quarrel led to the disappearance of Andrew Carnegie Whitfield, aged 28, last Monday. The quarrel occurred at a wild cocktail party. Whitfield, a nephew of the late multimillionaire steel magnate, has not been heard of since he flew off in his private aeroplane. Details of the reasons for his flight have only just been revealed by his bride of less than a year. The police at Danbury, Connecticut, report that they saw Whitfield's silver and red-striped aeroplane flying dangerously low on the day of his disappearance. It narrowly missed hitting a church steeple. Witnesses remarked at the time that it appeared as if the pilot' were drunk. Search parties are still scouting in the wooded country in the vicinity.
