AIR FORCE AERODROME
THE AUCKLAND PROVINCE A statement that he hoped to be in a position very soon to announce the location of the new Air Force aerodrome to be established in the Auckland Province was made yesterday by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. I'. Jones. Mr. Jones admitted that investigations had been inade at Whenuapai, but he pointed out that these had beon in pursuance of a policy unc.er which the Government had been making survevs in different parts of Auckland with tho idea of choosing the best site from every aspect that had to be considered for a military aerodrome..
