OPENING FUNCTION BRIDGE AND DANCING Flag bridge and dancing provided bright entertainment for those who attended the opening night of the Dunedin Club's activities for the season in the Catholic Women's League rooms 011 Wednesday. Excellent orchestral music made the dancing go with a swing, while keen games were played in the flag bridge contest. A cordial welcome to the members and visitors was extended by the host, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, who was assisted in receiving the guests by Mrs. Allum, who was wearing a graceful frock of burgundy lace with georgette sleeves in the same shade. Mrs. Allum later presented the prizes to the' winners of bridge and the novelty dances. Among those present were: —Mrs. Llew Piper, Mrs. F. N. Home, Mrs. H. H. Wilson, Mrs. M. W. Dodd, Mrs. J. A. Williams, Mrs. William Galbraith, Mrs. P. F. Kelly (Melbourne), Mrs. Ashley Macdonald (Dunedin), Mrs. R. T. Sando, Mrs. A. L. Campbell, Miss L. Fieldsend, Mrs. W. G. Pryor, Mrs. P. E. Allen, Mrs. M.
