STATE PENSIONS

PAYMENT TO-DAY AVOIDING INCONVENIENCE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Thursday Arrangements have been made for the payment of State pensions tomorrow —a clay earlier than usual. E, Parry, stated to-night that the normal pay day for most classes of pensions was the twenty-third of each month, but as that date this month fell on Saturday it would save inconvenience and congestion at payingout offices to make pensions available on April 22.
