SEAMAN'S OFFENCE

A seaman, John Reid, aged 20. pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to a charge of stealing a pair of spectacles, tobacco and an unemployment registration card, valued at Gs, the property of Thomas Henry Hnrtigan, on Wednesday.
