SEAMAN'S OFFENCE
A seaman, John Reid, aged 20. pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to a charge of stealing a pair of spectacles, tobacco and an unemployment registration card, valued at Gs, the property of Thomas Henry Hnrtigan, on Wednesday. Accused was sentenced to one month's imprisonment by Mr. I l '. ,K. Hunt, 5..M., but is to lie placed on his ship, the Port Hunter, when it returns from the south about Mav 5.
