PEDIGREE SETTER
AUCKLAND PURCHASER DOG'S NUMEROUS PRIZES [from our own correspondent] LONDON, March 26 A pedigree English setter, which has won many prizes in Britain, has been bought front Mr. Hazen Knox, the well-known breeder, of Tweedwall Kennels, Berwick, by Major Laird, of Auckland. It is a blue Belton and tan dog, 12 months old, by the name of Fortune of Tweedvale, sired by Maesydd Minister out of Petal of Tolworth. In London, Fortune of Tweedvale won nine firsts and was the best dog in the show of all breeds. At Richmond Championship Show it was awarded three firsts and two seconds,' and at Cheltenham two i P r sts and a second. At Middlesbrough it followed up these successes with two arst# and two seconds.
