EDINBURGH WEDDING McGREGOR—JOHNSON [from our own cor rkspondknt] LONDON, April '2 The wedding took place at St. Cuthbert's Parish Church, Edinburgh, today of Miss Helen M. Johnson, elder daughter of the late Air. W. H. Johnson, 8.A., C1i.8., M.D., F.R.S.E., of New Zealand, and Mrs. Johnson, of Strathnaver, Seton Place, Edinburgh. >ind Mr. Cecil G. McGregor, B.Sc., of Edinburgh. The Rev. David Brown officiated. The bride, who was given away by her elder brother, Mr. J. R. Mackay Johnson, wore her mother's parchment satin wedding gown and veil, also a veil of Brussels lace, a girdle of pearls and long kid gloves. The two veils were mounted on a head-dress of orange blossom and white heather, and she carried a bouquet of golden lilies of Japan. The five bridesmaids, one of whom was the bride's sister Marie, were dressed in turquoise blue velvet gowns trimmed with pale orchid velvet. They carried bouquets of multi-coloured spring flowers to match their headdresses of circular wreaths worn on the back of the head. At the reception Mrs. Johnson wore an olive green fine wool two-piece frock with a knee-length fitted coat and cuffs of dyed green fox to match.
