FAMOUS ATHLETES
PRESENT EMPLOYMENT A largo number of former prominent athletes and sportsmen are at present employed as representatives of wine and spirit firms and brewers. They are as follows: — Warwick Armstrong, former Australian test cricket captain; V. Y. Richardson, Australian test cricketer; Gra Rosser, formerly stroke of the winning King's Cup eight-oar crew of South Australia; A. P. F. Chapman, former English test cricket captain; Bob Pearce, world's sculling champion; Harald Baker, international all-round athlete; A. S. 13. Walker, former Australian Rugby halfback and captain for many years of New South Wales and Australia; 13. Kenny, New South Wales Rugby player and holder of the V.C.; .J. Craig. Australian Rugbj* League halfback; Warren Bardsley, former Australian test cricketer; V. Cornaga, well-known New Zealand runner; T. Watson, former Australian Rugby forward; L, Calloway, of the well-known family of cricketing fame. It is interesting to note that the yiajnrity of the men mentioned are huge physically. Warwick Armstrong perhaps tops the list as he is about Oft. -Sin. in height and 225t., in weight.
