ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
COMPETITIONS HEI^D The ambulance competitions of the St. John Ambulance Brigade were held at' the headquarters in Rutland Street, teams from Timarti, Hutt Valley, Wellington, Hamilton, Frankton arfd Huntly taking part, as well as several teams from the city and suburbs. Corps-Officer I?. K. Crawford was in charge of the competitions and tho commissioner for the district, Mr. C. J. Tunks, presented the trophies. ' , Results were as follows:—Gaze Challenge Cup: Auckland, 1; Timnru Bailway, 2. Gracie Memorial Cup: Huntly, 1; Ha went Railway, 2. intercolonial Challenge Cup: Huntly, 1; Glen Alton, 2. Whangarei Efficiency Cup: Huntly, J; Frankton Junction Railway, 2. Auckland Ambulance Cup: Huntly and Hamilton, equal, I. Horsley Challenge Cup: Brooklyn Nursing Division, 1: Onehunga Nursing Division, 2. SmithHathawav Rose Howl: National Reserve Nursing Division, 1; Onehunga Nursing Division, 2.' Sounders-Jones Cup: Onehunga Nursing Division, 1; National Reserve Nursing Division, 2. .Mr. I!. K. Crawford and Sergeant It. Hadaway were presented with medals for 12 years' service to the brigade.
