SULTAN OF JOHORE MOSLEM PROCEDURE SINGAPORE. April 9 The divorce, under Moslem law, of the Saltan of Johore. and his wife, who was formerly Mrs. Helen Wilson, has been confirmed hv an enactment which is to bo submitted to the State Council later, "irrevocably dissolving the marriage according to the law of Johore." '1 here will be no proceedings under British law. A Moslem divorce was achieved simply bv the Sultan saying once before witnesses, "Talak," meaning "I divorce." The Sultan was married to Mrs. Wilson in 1930.
