GERMAN WOMEN

NO LACK OF FREEDOM STATEMENT BY VISITOR A denial that German women were being deprived of any personal freedom was made by Mrs. Corinne Stussgen, of Cologne, who arrived by the Reliance yesterday. She is visiting the Dominion in the course of her fourth world cruise.

"There is also no ban on make-up," added Mrs. Stussgen. "On the contrary, Hitler likes to see German women looking smart, but he.has every man's dislike of heavy make-up, which in many cases is noticed even before face or clothes." In the course of her travels, Mrs. Stussgen is collecting material for a book, while a newspaper in Cologne is compiling a series of her impressions for another book.
