WELSH SOCIETY
ELECTION OF OFFICERS At the annual meeting of the Auckland Welsh Society the following oiheers and committee were elected:—President, Mr. T. E. Price; vice-presidents, Mrs. Saunders Jones, Mrs. Carey Williams, Mr. W. J. Edwards, Mr. D. R. Davies; treasurer, Mr. Hugh Williams; secretary, Mr. R. Carey Williams; assistant, secretary, Mr. W, J. Uees; auditors, Mr. G. Holmes and Mr. J. Wynne; honorary chaplain, Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes. The following were re-elected to tho committee: —Mrs. T. Stoodley, Mrs. M. Kinley, Mrs. Lloyd, Mrs. Walmsley, Mr. Wm. Jones, Mr. A. J. Norman, Mr. Tom Price, Mr. J. H. .Jones, Mr. West. New members, Mrs. C. Gray, Miss B. Morris and Mr. J. Parry. The secretary reported on the activities of the society during the past year, and was followed by the treasurer, with the financial report, which proved to be very satisfactory.
