BANDS AT PRACTICE

DISPLAYS IN HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Marching displays and items were given at Seddon Park yesterday by the South Auckland Pipe Band arid the Hamilton Citizens' Band. In the evening tho Hamilton Citizens' Band gave a special programme on the ferry bank. Patients at the Waikato Hospital were entertained yesterday afternoon b.v the Waikato Regimental and Hamilton Municipal Bands. Particular interest attached to the performances of tho bands, as the Waikato Regimental, Hamilton Municipal and Hamilton Citizens' Bands will be competing in the South Auckland brass bands contest at Thames, while the pipe band will take part in the Dominion Sip e bands contest at Palmerston forth.
