LANCASHIRE SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the Lancashire Society was held on Wednesday and was presided over by Mr. J. H. Smith. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. J. H. Smith; secretary, Mr. S. Bibby; assistant secretary, Mrs. J. Gates; treasurer, Mrs. Godsall; committee, Mesdames Jenkins, Dawson, Cook, Gatighan, Miss Brassington, Messrs. Jenkins, Glover, Ash worth, Taylor, Mayall, Goulden. A short programme of items by Mrs. Davey and Mrs. Marshall preceded dancing, and supper was served.
