Mrs. Clara Moginie, who has lieen convalescing at Taupo, has returned to her homo at Remuera.
Mrs. E. B. Churches, of Tamaki left yesterday to spend two weeks' holiday at Rotorua.
Miss Marjorie Macfariane, Gillies Avenue, Epsom, will leave by the Tamaroa for England on April 22.
Mrs. R, Wright (England), Mrs. A Duncan (Cambridge) and Miss C Orr (Sydney) are at the Central Hotel
Mrs. S. .Raoigitoto Avenue, Remuera, has returned from a visit to her daughter, who is at school in Wellington.
Mrs. Wellesley Hamlin, who has been visiting Auckland for the past few weeks, has returned to Waitara, Taranaki.
Mrs. Walter Seavill, of Hamilton, who recently returned from England, is visiting Dr. Hilda Northcroft, Glenside Crescent.
Mrs. Walter Pavitt, Portland Road, Remuera, leaves to-night on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Maurice Sinclair, Blenheim.
Mrs. J. Rawson and Miss D. Bulkley, of Wellington, are spending a few days in Auckland prior to motoring to Taupo for Easter.
Mrs. John Allen, of Morrinsyille. who has been paying a brief visit to Auckland, accompanied by her children, has returned home.
Mrs. A. M. Henderson, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. G. A. Gri'bbin, Calliope Road, Devonport. has returned to Waikino.
Mrs. C. S. Caddie, of Huntly, arrives in Auckland to-day and will stay with her mother, Dr. Woodward Horsley, Symonds Street.
Mrs. A. C. MacEwan, of Gladstone, Invercargill, will arrive in Auckland this morning to visit her sister, Mrs. H. F. Twigden, Upland Road, Remuera.
Miss C. Hull, who has been visiting relatives in Palmerston North and Marton, has returned to Auckland and is the guest of Dr. Hilda Northcroft, Glenside Crescent.
Mrs. Phillip Hanna, of Wellington, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, Gillies Avenue, Epsom, returned home last night by the limited express.
Miss F. Sheldon Smith, of England, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. W. B. Lloyd at Te Kauwhata, is at present staying with Miss A. Sheldon Smith, Clonbern Iload, Remuera.
Miss Hermione Llewellyn, secretary to Lady Wakehurst, wife of Lord Wakehurst, Governor of New South Wales, will leave by the Franconia on April 17 for England. She will travel via Hobart, New Zealand, Los Angeles, the Panama Canal and New York.
Tho position of headmistress of Craighead Diocesan School, Tiraaru, has been accepted by Miss Helena J. Clarke, M.A., who is senior mistress and house mistress at St. James' School, West Malvern, Worcestershire. Miss Clarke will take up her work at Craighead in October.
Mrs. Moss Davis, the mother olf the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, and the Hon. Eliot R. Davis, of Auckland, is celebrating her 92nd birthday to-day at her home in London. Mrs. Davis was a well known figure in Auckland for many years and left with her husband, the late Mr. Moss Davis, to reside in London some years ago. She still takes a keen interest in New Zealand and its people.
