BAYSWATER BRANCH FORMED PROGRESS IN WAITEMATA A meeting of supporters of the New Zealand National Party was addressed by the Dominion organiser, Mr. T. G. Wilkes, in the Presbyterian Hall, Bayswater, on Wednesday evening. Mr. Waddell presided. It was decided to form a branch of the party in the Bayswater-Belmont area, and a committee was elected. Sixteen branches of the party have now been formed in the Waitemata electorate during the past month. EDEN ELECTORATE MEETING AT MORNINGSIDE A well-attended meeting of the Eden branch of the National Party was held in the Morningside Hall last night with the object of forming a committee <to further the interests of the party in that area. Mr. G. L. Taylor, electorate chairman, presided. Mr. L. Alderton gave an address on the general progress of party organisation. The following officers were elected: — Chairman, Mr. G. E. Laycock; committee, Mesdames Tremain, M. Kerrtiish, Russell, and Mr., E. S. Inwood. BRANCH AT DEVONPORT FORMATION OF COMMITTEE A meeting of members and supporters of the National Party was held in the Foresters' Hall, Devonport, last night, there being an attendance of more than 70 persons. It was decided to form a Devonport branch of the party, and a strong committee was set up, with Mr. A. G. Quartley chairman and Mr. W. A. Walsh secretary.

1 BROWN'S BAY MEETING ADDRESS BY ORGANISER A meeting of residents of Brown's Bav was held in the Progress Hall this week. Mr. F. Gerlach presiding over a good attendance. An address was .given by Mr. J. T. Mollov, Auckland' divisional organiser of the National Party. It was unanimously decided to form a branch of the party in the Brown's Bay district. Mr. Gerlach was appointed cnairman and Mr. H. C. C. Bradman secretary.

BRANCH AT MAIRANGI BAY ELECTION OF COMMITTEE There was a good attendance of members and supporters of the New Zealand National Party in the Mairangi Bay Hall on Wednesday night, when it was decided to form a branch of the party. Mr. J. E. Close, chairman of the YYaitemata electorate committee, presided. An address on the aims arid objects of the party was given by th«> Auckland divisional organiser, Mr. J. T.
