WOMEN'S CLUBS
DOMINION FEDERATION BIENNIAL CONFERENCE MEETING IN CHRISTCHURCH The biennial conference of the .Federation of Women's Clubs opened in Christchurch yesterday. The morning was devoted to the discusison of business matters and was followed by a luncheon party. In tho afternoon the delegates were taken for a drive and entertained at afternoon tea by Mrs. R. T. Toswill at her home in Feudalton.
The following were delegates to tho conference: —Auckland Lyceum Club, Miss Ellen Melville and Mrs. Kenneth Gordon; Canterbury Women's Club, Mesdames R. J. McLaren, A. E. G. Lyttle and Miss E. Orchard; Cavendish Club, Ashburton, Mrs. M. Ruddock and Mrs. L. Carter; Gisborne Women's Club, Mrs. J. Pike; Gore Women's Club, Mrs. J. A. Edwards; Hastings Community Club, Mesdames T. H. Lowry, R. M. Lovell-Smith, and W. Mackenzie; Marlborough Women's Club, Miss M. Bell and Mrs. C. O. T. Rutherford; North Otago Women's Club. Mesdames J. M. Forrester and R. K. Ireland; Otago Women's Club, Lady Hutchinson and Miss Jean Nicholson; Pioneer Club, Wellington, Miss Amy Kane and Mrs. C. E. Adams; Southland Women's Club, Mrs. Ritchie Crawford; South Canterbury Women's Club, Mrs. E. G. Kerr; Taranaki Women's Club, Miss Elsie Andrews; Wellington Lyceum Club, Mrs. .T. C. Anderson and Mrs. D. A. Herbert; Whangarei Women's Club, Mrs. A. H. Crane; Rangitikei Ladies' Club. Mrs. Duncan Simpson.
