She will take about !370 passengers. Tho Union Company's chartered steamer Hoinney, lrom the Pacific Coast, via Pnprtetc, will arrive this morning and berth at Queen's Wharf, later proceeding to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. To load finally, the Osaka Syosen Kaisya motor-ship Melbournc Maru will arrive this morning from Napier and berth at Prince's Wharf. She shotdd sail to-night for •Japanese ports, via Manila.

Having cleared Westport for Auckland yesterday morning, the Westport Ccal Company's steamer Canopus is expected to-morrow night. She ivill suil on her return on Monday. The Union Company's steamer Kaimiro, which sailed from Greymouth for Auckland at JO o'clock yesterday morning, is due on Saturday. Arriving last night from Sydney, the Union Company's steamer Kairanga anchored in the stream. She will berth this morning at King's Wharf and will later pay off for survey. "he Union Company's motor-ship Waiana will return this morning from Portland and will berth at Prince's Wharf. She is expected to sail foi Wellington and the south tomorrow afternoon.

WEIR BANK IN PORT The Bank Line motor-ship Weirbank arrived yesterday morning from Nauru Island with phosphate for Auckland and Wanganui. She is at Sing's Wharf. RUAHINE REPORTS A wireleos message from the New Zealand Shipping' Company's liner Ruahine siates that she expirctsi to reach Wellington from London. via Panama, at seven o'clock on Wednesday morning. CITY OF WELLINGTON The departure from Wellington for Auckland of the M.A.N.Z. Line steamer City of Wellington has been postponed until to-day and the vessel, which is discharging: cargo from St. John and Halifax, is expected on Saturday. MATAI TO RETURN

THE PORT DEXISON Wireless advice from the Port Line steamer Port Denisun, from Antwerp, via Sydney, slates that she will now arrive to-morrow morning. The Port Denison. which will discharge basic slag at Auckland and New Plymouth, will berth at Central Wharf. NOTICE TO MARINERS The Auckland Harbour Board advises that, on account of the Auckland rowing championship reiatta to be held on Saturday, navigation is prohibited between '2 p.m. and 5.30 p.m. that day in the following area:— Bounded on the eastern side by Orakei Wharf, thence by a line on the northern side from the end of Orakei Wharf to the compass adjusting dolphin.
