VICTORY IN THIRD ROUND [BY TELEGRAPH —rHESS association] INVERCARGILL, Wednesday In a professional boxing contest tonight Dick Baker. 10st., of Invercargill, defeated Doug. Eddington. 10sr. lib., of Timaru, on a knock-out in tlie third round. This was Baker's first professional bout, and his display grentlv impressed spectators.
