OPENING OF CONFERENCE (Received March 28, 7.<10 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 28 Empire development and co-opera-tion were the keynotes of speeches at the. Empire producers' conference, which was opened to-dav by the Governor of New South Wales, Lord Wakehurst,. Delegates front England. Wales, Scotland, Canada. Rhodesia, New Zealand and Australian organisations attended. Speakers in support of a vote of thanks to His Excellency included Mr. W. W. Mulhollantl, president of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, and Mr. A". J. Munlock, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Board.
