Stubbs were runnersup. A Stableford bogey at Glendowie rejulted in a win for G. Graham and D, H. Gladding was successful in a medal event at I'upuke.

OPENING AT OTAHUHU RECORD ATTENDANCE MIXED FOURSOME BOGEY The Otahuhu Golt' Club opened its leason officially on Saturday afternoon in the presence of a record attendance of members and players. Over 200 participated in the play. The president, Mr. R. L. Brown, drove the first ball and declared the links oreu. A mixed foursome, bogey was played the best cird being returned by Miss M. Hynes and S. P. Sheppard, 5 down. The next best card wa> returned by Miss J5. Stubbs and A. Todd, 6 down. A Stahlfford bogey scramble was won by A Flatt with 36 points. As the result of a working bee the prefions week-end the course was in excellent trder, the gullies and natural haxards having bun cleaned up.
