The suggestion for a memorial was made at the diamond' lubilee celebrations of tho school, and as a result a number of early pupils mit tho chairman of the school comm.ttee, Mr. A, 6. Harris, and tho headmaster, Mr. J. W. McGechio, when a committee was formed. Jt comprises Miss McQuarrie, Messrs. W. Cliff, Arthur Auger, McGechie and Harris' the last-named being secretary and itroasurer.
