MOTHER KILLS CHILDREN
NO MONEY TO FEED THEM TEXAS WOMAN'S CRIME (Received March 18, 7 p.m.) NEW YORK, March 18 A message from Texas states that Mrs. Lillie Curtis, aged ;38, shot dead six of her children as they were steeping. The seventh and eldest child, aged 1?, she spared. "f had no money and they ;uv better dead," said the mother. "1 did not kill tho eldest because he can go to work." Mrs. Curtis shot her husband dead three years ago. She was convicted but tho was suspended.
