TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE
HARBOUR BOARD MEMBERS PROPOSAL FOR INCREASE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANG AKEI, Thursday Support for a suggestion by the Dunedin Harbour Board that the travelling allowance of members of harbour boards should bo increased from 20s a day to 80s was given by the Whangarei board to-day. The board is to co-operate with other hoards in making representations to the Minister of Marine, the Hon. l\ Fraser, along tho lines suggested.
