THE TE KUITI CLUB [BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] TE KUITI, Friday In ideal weather, Ihe Te Kuiti Collie Club's annual trials were held on Mr. Willis Walker's property. The Main Trunk centre championships for three standard events were run in conjunction with the trials. Although the entries were not as good as in other years, ewing to stock sales and outside shows, the work in the heading events and in the huntauay was excellent. Results:— Long Head (possible points 50). —G. Sutherland's Kangitoto Jep, 50 points, 1; Fraser Smith's Awakino Highland King, 40Vi points. 2; A. J. Sutherland's Rangitoto Fly 4« points, 3. Winner of Main Trunk centre .championship gold medal: G. Sutherland's Jep Short Head and Yard (possible points 60). —P. McNaughton's Morrinsville Nell, 5H points, 1; Fraser Smith's Awakino Highland .King and E. Johnston's Putaruru Mack, equal, 55 points, 2; N. Stanaway's Piopio Cruachan, points, *l. Main Trunk centre championship gold medal: McNaughton's Nell. Huntawa.v (possible points 15). —Jack Scott's Te Kuiti Glen, 31 points, 1. The only dog in the event to qualify for a place. Main Trunk championship gold medal: J. S(»tt's Glen.
