DEAD FISH ON BEACH
EXPLOSIVES SUSPECTED [m* telegraph —own correspondent]! WAIHI, Thursday Numbers of (lead fish were discovered at different points on the shores of Bowentown Kstuarv by launchmcn who | visited Tanner's Point last week-end. Appearances pointed to illegal use of explosives, presumably gelignite. It is alleged also that explosives were used i on the ocean side. The matter has been reported to the local police.
