SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES IN SECOND ROUND ATTRACTIONS AT EDEN PARK The fourth scries of games in the senior championship of tho Auckland Cricket Association will be finalised tomorrow. In the principal game on No. 2 wicket at Eden Park, Y.M.C.A. made a fairly good showing against Eden in scoring 213. Providing conditions are good, Eden, which scored 15 without a loss, should not experience much difficulty in passing its''opponent's total. University appears 'to have the measure of Grafton on No. 1 wicket. The former scored 229 in its first innings and Grafton lost six wickets for 52. Tho latter will need to stage a remarkable recovery in order to securo a victory. King's Old Boys scored 151) against Parnoll on No. 3 wicket, the latter making five runs without a loss. North Shore already holds a largo first innings lead over Ponsonby in the game at Devonport and has excellent chances of an outright victory. Ponsonby was dismissed for 51) and the local team replied with 212. Lower grade competitions'will bo continued. Following are tho teams: — PARNELL Third Grade. —E. Judson, C. Kavanagh, R. Harmon, G. SUBURBAN MATCHES GREEN LANE AND ROSKILL The Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association will conclude tho second series of matches in tho second round of its senior championship at the Domain to-morrow afternoon. The championship has reached an interesting stage, and tho matches will bo followed with interest. Greon Lano is in a good position against ltoskill, although tho wicket conditions should play an important part in tho ultimate result. Should Manukau, which scored 18-1 against H.V.'s a?, secure an outright win, its chances in the championship will be considerably improved. Brixton, which lost five wickets for 6L, should defeat Ponsonby, which was dismissed for 87. A victory for Brixton would bo popular following on its recent surprise defeat of Green Lane.
