BURGLARY CHARGES
TWO MEN REMANDED YOUTH ALSO APPEARS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Following police investigations into a series of burglaries in the Hamilton district, two men appeared in the Police Court and another youth in the Children's Court to-day. All were remanded to appear at Hamilton next Wednesday. Alton William Movie, aged 22, farm hand, was charged with breaking ami entering the counting house of J. J. Walker and stealing £3 7s in money on or about February 25, while Frank Charles Arthur Allen, aged 17, labourer, was alleged to huve unlawfully converted to his own uiso a motorcar valued at £lO5, the property of J. Pomeroy and Com pa ny*, Hamilton, and also to have stolen tools, valued at £ll ]3s6d, the "property of A. G. Hanson. Allen was allowed bail in one surety of £25. A youth aged 16 appeared before Mr. W. H. Paul, J.P., in the Children's Court charged with breaking and entering the counting house of J. J. Walker and stealing £3 7s in money on or about February 25. Consitable Henry stated that it was alleged that the boy had been associated with other men in a tour of the countryside from Auckland to Hamilton. Other charges were pending.
