March 0 > Traffic, in the West End of London was disorganised for over an hoar and 100 extra police were rushed up when thousands of demonstratoru marched to Piccadilly Circus as a protest against the visit of Herr von Ribbentrop, former Ambassador and now a member of the German Privy Council. Three men climbed the Eros Statue and affixed a banner bearing the legend: "Keep out Herr von Ribbentrop: Get out Herr Chamberlain." The police pulled the banner down. The demonstrators left in good order but the police remained on guard outside the German Embassy, fearing further demonstrations.
