RECONSTRUCTION PROPOSALS [fiiom OUR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday A contract has been let fur the reconstruction of the Taupiri-Morrins-viile jnain highway and the work is shortly tc be commenced, according to a statement by the Engineer, Mr. A. A. Woodward, at a meeting of the Waikato County Council to-day. He mentioned that the fencing of the deviations was now being undertaken. Mr. Woodward also mentioned that two tenders had been received for reconstruction work on the first three and a-half miles of the Hamilton Tauhei main highway and they had been forwarded to the Main Highways Board for consideration. The widening of a length of the road between Waeranga and Taniwha had been completed and considerable maintenance work had been performed 011 other county roads
