DEBATE ON COLONIES TIME NOT OPPORTUNE LONDON, March 6 The British Broadcasting Corporation has cancelled the broadcast of a debate on March 11 on the question of Germany's claim to colonies, in which Mr. L. S. Amery, former Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, Mr. Harold Nicholson, former headmaster of Taunton School, and Mr. George Glasgow, t a well-known writer on political subjects, are participating. The broadcast has been cancelled as it is considered it would be "inopportune owing to recent international developments" and in view of possible conversations between Britain and Germany next week.
