FALL FROM RATA VINE
GIRL INJURES BACK [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI. Thursday While swinging on a rata vine at the annual Opotiki District High School, picnic at the Hikutaia Domain yesterday afternoon, Jean Cochrane, daughter of Mr. W. Cochrane, received injuries to her back when the vine snapped. Considerable difficulty was experienced in getting the injured girl out of the bush. She was taken to the Opotiki Hospital.
