ARTILLERY CAMP

SEC'-OMD MEDIUM BATTERY [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Sixty-one members of tho 2nd Medium Battery, New Zealand Artillery, have returned to Hamilton after attending a week's camp at Rotorua under the command of Major E, F. ClaytonGreene. The battery curried out a night occupation, while live shell practice was held at a range of from 7000 yds to 8000 yds. The shooting was remarkably good, and several direct hits were scored. Assisting Major Ciliy tonGreene were Captain M. Yendcll and Lieutenant L. G. Williams. As a result of the camp M.ijor ClaytonGreene is optimistic of retaining the trophy for tho most efficient medium battery in Now Zealand.
