LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

Mount Albert. —Members spent a delightful day recently when they held their annual picnic at the home of Mrs. Harvey Turner on the summit ol Mount Albert. The president, Mrs. M. M. Turner, welcomed the members, and also Mrs. S. O. English, provincial president, and Mrs. M. Horsley. Tennis and games were hold, and lunch and afternoon tea were served under the trees. Mount Eden. —An address 011 numerology was enjoyed at the first meeting for the year of this branch. .Mrs. Raeburn presided, and solos were given by Mrs. Wiseman. The committee members served afternoon tea.
