Fen wick, of Hastings, is the guest of Mrs. M. J. Hooper, Claude Road, Epsom. Miss N. Menzies, of Firth Road, Grey Lynn, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Otterson Lowe, Hamilton. Mrs. Victor Le Prou, of National Park, has returned home after spending a few weeks at Devonport. Mrs. Gully and Miss Antoinette Guily, Constitution Hill, have returned from a visit to Rotorua and Waitomo. Miss Enid White, of Sydney, is visiting Auckland and is staying with her mother, Mrs. E. J. White, Great South Road. Miss Olga Buscke, of Remuera, returned by the Wanganella from a two years' visit to England and the Continent. Mrs. Long and Miss Maureen Long, of Manaia, are visiting Auckland and are the guests of Mrs. A. Cameron, St. Heliers Bay. Mrs. H. Scott Johnson, Mrs. J. H. Maggs and Mrs. E. M. Watkins (London) and Mrs. C. D. Bryant (Waikato) are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. W. H. Campbell, of Wanganui, and Mrs. G. Parsons, of Wellington, are the guests of Mrs. P. McGill, King Edward Street, Mount Eden. Miss June Bubb, of Sydney, who has been the guest of Mrs. John Dreadon, Dominion Road, will leave to-morrow for Wellington and Hastings. Mrs. A. C. Turnbull, wife of the acting-Administrator of Samoa, will return to Apia by the Matua to-day after a short visit to New Zealand. Mrs. R. Menzies, Hamilton, is visiting Auckland and has taken Mrs. M. Billington's house in Sarsfield Street, Heme Bay, for a few months. Mrs. Edmund Turner, of Parnell Road, accompanied by Miss Irma Meyer, returned yesterday from a holiday spent at Rocky Bay, Waiheke. Mrs. A. Kinnear (Adelaide), Mrs. Clinton Jones and Mrs. J. McKay (Whangarei) and the Misses A. and P. Unmack (Sydney) are at the Central Hotel. Mrs. Arthur Lambourne, of Matainata, who has been spending a holiday at Waiwera, is now the guest of Mrs. J. R. Readdy, Cheltenham Road, Devonport. Mrs. A. E. Smith and Miss Betty Smith, Mount Hobson Road, Remuera, left last night by the limited express for Wellington to connect with the Akaroa for England. Mrs. M. Billington, Sarsfield Street, Heme Bay, went south by train last night and will leave by the Akaroa from Wellington for England. She expects to be away for about a year. Mrs. H. A. Wootton and the Misses Patricia and Denise Wootton, of Remuera Road, left last night by the limited express for Wellington, where thev will connect with the Akaroa for England. Miss Mary Segetin and Miss MayWhite, of Sydney, arrived in Auckland by the Wanganella to attend the Catholic centenary celebrations. They will tour the North Island before returning to Australia. Mrs. Allan G. Menzies and her daughter. Miss Barbara Menzies, of Lucerne Road, Remuera, left by the limited express yesterday for Wellington, where they will join the Akaroa on route to England. Mrs. W. J. Feenev, of Wanganui, accompanied by her husband, who is president of the Particular Council of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, of Wanganui, is visiting Auckland for the Catholic Centenary celebrations. Mrs. L. W. Fulcher (London), Airs. H. Bishop and Mrs. C. J. Marjason (Wellington), Mrs. T. A. Bush (Marton), Mrs. J. R. Penn (New Plymouth), Mrs. Roy Duncan (Te Aroha), Mrs. Clarence Hoskins (Bay of Islands) and Miss Judith Gough (Christchurch) are at the Station Hotel. Mrs. George Lowe and her two daughters, of Helensville, have returned from Rotorua, where they stayed with Mrs. Lowe's mother, Mrs. C. Morgan. Mr. and Mrs. Lowe and their family will leave by the Matua from Auckland to-day for Tonga, where they will make their new home.
