EVENTS AT TAURANGA [by telegraph—OWN cohiiespondent] TAURANGA, Monday The Taumnga Yacht and Power-Boat Club's championship race for 7ft boata for the Robinson Cup resulted:—Redwing (W. Sneddon), 1; Haerora (G. Ronayne), 2; Vestal (P. Wilson), 3. Five started. The combined sailing handicap race for youths under 21 for the Colonel Ward Memorial Cup re suited:—Awatea (L. Stevens), 1: Rose Marie (R. Mackreil), 2; Wairere (B. Sneddon), 3. The Mornt Sailing Club held two races for the Stewart Cup. Tho first race resulted:— Awatea (L. Stevens), 1; Rose Mane (R. Mackreil), 2; lona (B. Sneddon). 3. The second race resulted:—Awatea (L. Stevens), 1; lona (B. Sneddon), 2; Rose Marie OR. Mackreil). 3.
